Winners and Finalists
The judging panel will select 3 Finalists from each of the 12 Nominated Categories, with all Winners announced at the Fremantle Business Awards 2011. The Ceremony will be at The Esplanade Hotel on Wednesday 8 June 2011. All Finalists will receive a complimentary single ticket to the Fremantle Business Awards Ceremony. Winners will also feature in the Fremantle Gazette's coverage of the Ceremony.

Images provided by the Finalists would be used in a Powerpoint Presentation to be shown on the Awards Night. Finalists may be approached by the Fremantle Chamber of Commerce to provide additional images, if required.

Judging Procedure

  1. The judging panel consists of business people selected for their business knowledge.
  2. The judging panel reviews submissions, selects finalists and arranges site visits, as necessary.
  3. Finalists will be notified and asked to provide additional information, if required, by the judging panel.
  4. The judges' decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.

Eligibility

  1. Entry in all categories is open to businesses with premises in Fremantle, its surrounding areas, and, to businesses and people who have substantial trade in Fremantle.
  2. Entrants must work in or employ in the Fremantle and surrounding areas.
  3. Entrants must have a current ABN.
  4. Entrants must have been in business within the Fremantle and surrounding areas for at least 12 months.
  5. The awards are designed to recognise the contributions of these businesses to the economic life of Fremantle and the surrounding region.
  6. The judging panel will be looking not only look at the success of the business, but the nominee's drive and entrepreneurial spirit.

Conditions
It is a condition of entry that entrants agree to their business being profiled in the media and by the Fremantle Chamber of Commerce.

Entry Deadline
The closing date for entry is Thursday 12 May 2011.

Confidentiality
The information contained in submissions will remain strictly confidential and will only be accessible to the judging panel.
