Winners and Finalists
The judging panel will select 3 Finalists from each of the six Nominated Categories, with all Winners announced at the Fremantle First Business Awards 2007 Ceremony at the WA Maritime Museum on 22 November 2007. All Finalists will receive a complimentary single ticket to the Fremantle First Business Awards 2007 Ceremony. Winners will also feature in the Fremantle Gazette's coverage of the Ceremony.
Images provided by the Finalists would be used in a Powerpoint Presentation to be shown on the Awards Night. Finalists may be approached by the Fremantle Chamber of Commerce to provide additional images, if required.
Judging Procedure
- The judging panel consists of business people selected for their business knowledge.
- The judging panel reviews submissions, selects finalists and arranges site visits, as necessary.
- Finalists will be notified and asked to provide additional information, if required, by the judging panel.
- The judges' decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
Eligibility
- Entry in all categories is open to businesses with premises in Fremantle and the surrounding areas and to businesses that do significant business in Fremantle.
- The awards are designed to recognise the contributions of these businesses to the economic life of Fremantle and the surrounding region.
- The judging panel will be looking not only at the success of the business, but the nominee's drive and entrepreneurial spirit.
- (*) Entry in the Micro Business Award Categories is open to all businesses with less than 5 full-time employees.
Conditions
It is a condition of entry that entrants agree to their business being profiled in the media and by Fremantle First and the Fremantle Chamber of Commerce.
Entry Deadline
The closing date for entry is Friday, 26 October 2007.
Confidentiality
The information contained in submissions will remain strictly confidential and will only be accessible to the judging panel.
